AI creates new opportunities and challenges to cybersecurity such as AI enabled cyberthreats, use of AI to improve cyber tools and capabilities, and ensuring AI systems are protected from traditional and emerging cyberthreats. NIST is developing Cyber AI Profile using the CSF that describes these implications and helps organizations understand, examine, and address the cyber risks in these areas.
